I just upgraded from Finale 98 (that's right!) to Finale 2004. I have always used hyperscribe with my Kawaii midi keyboard. I have everything set up the same way - midi in through an Audigy 2 soundcard - but for some reason, it doesn't register the signal in hyperscribe.
I have checked out the hardware by setting a tap source using a synthesizer key. So if I go into Finale and choose middle C on the keyboard as the note to start the tap, it registers the correct note and channel when I press the note on the keyboard. Clearly the signal is reaching the computer.
When I actually start hyperscribe, however, it doesn't register any notes. Any ideas, anyone?
