OK, I've installed OMS and my MIDI driver, and configured the former to recognize my antique (Roland D-5) synth. In Finale's MIDI setup dialog, I set things up so that input would come from the synth, but playback would go thru the QuickTime Musical Instruments. Speedy entry now works fine,
