In Finale Mac 2002, in the "Other Options" part of "Program Options", there is a setting called "Use Navigation Services". If this setting is on (which is the default option), there should be a checkbox for "Append File Extensions" at the bottom of the "Save" dialog. Michael Cook At 14:53 -080

I'm still on FinMac 2k2, which doesn't append the extension, so I'm not quite sure how it works. If I were to type ".mus" myself, would it the append an additional extension, or does it know better? mdl I too am on 2k2, and it *does* append the extension. It does so in the Save dialog, wh.
