Have you tried the stupid stuff like assigning more memory to Distiller? Acrobat 5 is a notorious hog, and A6 is worse. On a machine with any significant age, you bascially can't run it alongside anything else. Also, note that AR5 exhibits font problems when bookletizing Finale-printed files. B
