Here is how I do it: I open the Finale file I want to convert and Logic
Audio (but you could use a much cheaper audio recording package), arm a
track in Logic, and simply record the Finale file as a digital audio file in
Logic. I use an external synth, so Finale sends the midi data to my synth,
