If there's to be numerous alternations between 3+2 and 2+3 sections, then using time signatures showing these digits will be confusing for the players. A 5/4 signature with dotted sub-barlines would be my preference. Stravinsky uses 7/4 in the finale of the Firebird, which alternates between
