My talented Mac guru has succeeded in getting rudimentary midi input and output on my new G5 using 2003 in classic mode! He works so fast that I can give no helpful hints as to how this was accomplished (but I am using the midiman uno interface that Darcy recommended). I am simply letting everyone know that it is possible, and I am grateful to be able to continue my work between now and version 2004.
