While I think that's the correct address for FROM, I think the list should have the REPLY-TO set to the list. I don't know how whitelist spam filters like this handle this, whether if you authorize an address the mail will get through if it is in the REPLY- TO, but it is definitely a problem. The problem is that every person who posts to the list is going to get this verification message each time they post, forcing them to then authorize their email address. Well, Bob, you know what? I don't give a rat's ass if you read my posts or not, and I'm not going to verify my address, because *I* didn't send you a message, the Finale listserv sent you a message. If you're going to do a whitelist like this, the whitelist software you use better have the ability to handle mailing lists where the FROM address is not the list. If it doesn't then you really oughtn't be subscribing to mailing lists if you are going to use it. -- David W.
