Use the "Beam Stem Adjust Tool" in Special Tools to change the length
of that extra bit of stem.
TGtools creates a tremolo by first making beamed notes, then changing
the noteheads. When necessary it also hides the stems or alters the

They've actually extended the season of Road Construction to include March and

In WinFin 2004 I entered a few measures of verse one as "one one one
one" and verse two as "two two two two." I then click assigned them. I
then went into "Edit Lyrics" and cut (Ctrl-x) and pasted (Ctrl-c) verse
one lyrics into verse two and verse two lyrics into verse one. The

I'm making some changes (trying to fix some bad page turns) to a file
that (in Page Layout view) has each staff marked with a "lock" symbol
at the far right. What do I need to do to unlock the staves so I can
adjust the spacing?

No, actually, just unlock them. On Mac it is command-U.
No need to unoptimize.
