Hi All,
I have a client who wants to prepare a liturgy in
Armenian. He'd like to do something a little non
traditional as far as syllabification goes. On
melismas, he'd like to split up a single syllable word
so that the vowel sound is shown as being sung on the
melismas, then show the final letter
Paul,
Check out Dover Publications' copyright free drawings
of compsers, instruments, etc. I think some even come
with a CD-ROM. you'll have
to search on their site a bit, but it shouldn't be

Hello.
This is slightly off topic, however.
What is the copyright situation with etchings and

Linda,
A client whom I have told repeatedly that I do not do transcriptions has
mailed me a CD unannounced and wants a lead sheet of a somewhat R&B version

Interested? I do not recognize the artist on the CD.

Henry,
Have you tried deleting your Finale 2005 preferences? I doubt that any
"links are lost" (although you should try booting from your OS X
install CD and running Disk Utility regardless). I think it's much
more likely that Finale's preferences are corrupt.

Starting from version 0.18, the full version of Forza! will be available
with its own components. It will be available for download from the

Is there a need for an open source font? Or is everyone
happy with the fonts offered with Finale and/or making slight
adjustments thereto?
