HI all
My 2003a Finale will open & print out tif files that contain fingerings for
clarinet & bassoon.
On a different computer, using original 2003a Finale converted to 2007, and
before that, 2004 Finale, the tif's will not print or show up on the screen.

It is a well known issue that Finale sometimes causes repeated notes
not to play back because of the overlap of key off and key on MIDI
messages. This is especially true on sustaining instruments.
One way to take care of it is to go into the MIDI tool and shorten
the duration of the offending
Two ways:
1. Chord Tool: Drag-enclose the handles (make sure manual input is selected
in the menu so the handles show) and hit the clear key
2. Mass edit: select the region with the chords, go to Mass Edit->Change->
Chord Assignments. Down at the bottom of the window choose "Add to Default
Positi
hey is there some way to reset all chords in a region (mass mover?),
or even a group of handle-selected chords to their defalt position
once they have been moved horizontally and/or vertically? can't find
anything in the manual or the menus, and hardly know this tool at all.
