$1000 is a fair price, $500 a super friendly one - depending on the
length and complexity of the arrangement. These are "low end" quotes
and don't include a parts production/engraving fee.
Anyway, that would be my suggestion, if I understand the circumstances.

This is a well- documented problem in WinFin as well. The solution from
MAKEMUSIC is to trash the Finale and Midi preference files.
I cannot say that this is the solution for MacFin though;-)

This seems to be a fairly common problem on both platforms...I must confess to
finding it most irritating...does turning off "chase" slove this issue
universally? Why is "chase" problematic, especially when starting from the
beginning leaves nothing to chase? I am on WinFin 09B.
