I think the new percussion setups are the best thing about 2010; however, I am
finding the process of getting my old map updated very tedious as FINALE seems
to want me to get the orange out by backspacing and entering the right note
for the new map.

i can't figure this one out (2010). i'm cleaning upo the parts of an
orch score and 2 of the 3 temp markings in the score (all stored in
the tempo marks category) are not showing on some new parts. fl1 and
2 were ok (all instr. separate staves in score), then fl3 was missing
them. i
all i have to do to get it to reppear is 2-click a measure, click on
the edit categories button, and cancel/cancel back to the score...!?!

now expressions disappearing randomly throughout the parts. this is
getting really worrisome. i wonder sometimes just how much i should
be trusting finale anymore...

ah fantastic, when i do get them to reappear they lose all the
positioning adjustments i amde... is it just me...?

i seem to remember hearing somewhere that it might be related to time
sig attached expressions... i'll change them tomorrow to left barline
attached and see if that works.

This was happening to me in 2009 whenever I removed measures, but
only on certain categories of expressions. If I remember correctly,
it was tempo marks and tempo changes. I never got the reason (time
sig?) but your fix worked (except I had to re-adjust all markings I
had nudged!)
