[Finale] volume levels

Fin Mac 2K7 I want my MIDI to play back my Finale files at full volume 127, but something is telling my MIDI to set that level to 101. I went to Playback Controls and set the key velocity level to 127 and this value shows up even after the MIDI has played back my file at 101. How do I fix

Larry, the 101 Volume is probably coming from the setting in the Instrument List window, adjacent to the panning setting. You can set a different volume for each staff but the default is 101 for all. Peter Thanks, Peter. That solved the mystery.
