I agree, this is particularly annoying in Finale, not just in the circumstance
you mention but also in the Time Signature dialog box.
For scrolling in Scroll View, I use the two-finger horizontal swipe on the
trackpad — but it takes some practice to reliably do this in a way that scr

to restore them. This has horrendous consequences for Finale. What
solutions do you guys use? I am mainly concerned about how to reliably
scroll 1 measure back and forth in Scroll View.
