Esteemed members of the list:

I have a proposition that could prove beneficial to one of you (and me):

I posted
on the trb-L earlier today, have gotten a bunch of interested replies
but no cigar, yet.

I realize that Finale skills are a must, and I kept getting "I have a copy
of Finale..."

Situation:

I have dozens and dozens of arrangements on the computer in Finale. I have

a website - rayhortonmusic.com - with teasers about many pieces but very

little functionality, even though I am paying for Weebly Pro or whatever.

(My music is far better than most of the crap out there, and much of it
is quite marketable, IMHO.)

I have no time to work up the skills, or time to work on the site. Also
I have

severe back pain following my stroke and subsequent spine injury which

limits the amount of work I can do seated at my favorite computer setup.

_What I need_ is a person with web site skills to set up my site so patrons

can log on, pay and download music or pay for printed music to be mailed.

This person would get:

- A percentage of every sale, and all the music he or she wants to harvest

(Upfront money is likely not possible at this time, but we can talk.

_What I don't need_ is a lot of geek-speak about which programming
languages, etc. etc. I want to simplify my life, not make it more
complicated. I have the site mentioned above (name from name.com, design
on Weebly Pro) and want to keep the name. I can pay some other sites, as
long as it is in the same price ballpark.

I need to enable patrons to log on, get some free samples as a way to
induce traffic, see samples of music to buy, maybe hear some sample mp3s,
then pay and dl PDFs or order printed copies and leave happy to return
another day.

I also need to figure out pricing, would appreciate someone who can advise
and/or price.

If you have done a similar site please send a private message with a link,
and a description of some of your abilities and accomplishments.

The instrumental combinations include:

- Brass Trios (many)

- Brass quintets (a few)

- Trombone ensembles (several)

- Hymn descants for trombone, trumpet, flute (hundreds)
 see below about formatting issues*.

- Church hymn solo arrangements for trombone and piano (some of you got

one of these several weeks ago, my church loves them)

- Church hymn arrangements for brass, especially for congregational

singing (brass quartets, not so much quintets, and a bunch of stuff for

about 4 brass and 3 or 4 WW)

- Organ Preludes (very popular)

- Choral arrangements and compositions

- Compositions for orchestra (these are starting to take off around the

country and are going to be listed in the next edition of the

Daniels _Orchestral Music_)

- arrangements for elementary school band (varying instrumentation, can

be altered to order)

*Finale skills come into play particularly for these: I have dozens of hymn
descants for trumpet, trb and flute, in separate files and with
inconsistent formatting. I have a format (hymn tune name, title, etc.,) I
would like to use for all of them but haven't had time to reformat them
all. I also want the melody added on a separate staff whenever it is not
there already (these are readily available on the web as midi files, and
hymnal scans are all over the place. Then, I would like to be able to sell
them separately or all together (at a discount).

Anyone interested please send me a private message, summarizing your
abilities and experience. Thanks!!!
