Bill Duncan provided me with a text block “tag” that prints the date my Finale files are printed. Maybe I might be able to figure out how to extract it from my template and send it, if that would help, or even just send a Final file with the embedded text block from which you could copy it. I

i add a bookmark to the PDF documents i prepare (title pages + score) -- [compiled 27 july 2016] -- and edit out the bookmark function (so nothing happens when you click on it), and set up the file to always show the bookmarks panel. this is in addition to the indication which edition the score
