You can also delete the preferences directly within Finale 25 in the
preferences panel.

The preference file location remains the same for Finale 25,
(~/Library/Preferences/Finale 2014.5 Preferences), but the file name has
changed, so I didn’t recognize it. It is now listed as:
com.makemusic.finale.fprf
So now I can copy that file, and in the unfortunate event of a
~/Library/Preferences/Finale 2014.5 Preferences
For Finale 25 (64 bit) it's a complete different set of preferences files
but in the same folder.
