Hello, all
OK, I'm trying to play back a score with a chord progression on the piano part.
Is there any way to turn off the playing of the chords so I can hear the
melody and the other parts I've written? The only way I've found to do that is
to remove the chord progression and
Hi, all I'm in the process of copying a clarinet with piano
accompaniment work and am running into a problem... The notation for the
clarinet part is in F major; the piano part is in Eb. OK, so far, so good.
I've set the transposition attributes for the clarinet part to (Bb)
Hello, everyone.
I've run into a symbol on an oboe part that I've never seen
before..it's a flat sign with a caret or marcato accent at the top of
the stem. I don't think it's a misprint since the composer provided a special
fingering for the note. The Dolmesch library
Hi, all
I'm using Speedy Entry, Finale Windows 2011.
I'm working on a part-copy project in 12/8 time, with a LOT of running 16th
notes. A minor irritation: the entered notes pile up at the left end of the

Hello!
I'm crawling out of lurkdom to ask the collective wisdom: what opinions do you
have (good, bad, indifferent) about the Mic Notator in F2008? Is it essential
to have Finale's special mic for this? And will this mic also work for
SmartMusic? I would find it SO much easier to input
a lot, so I haven't noticed playback issues, but
that wouldn't surprise me. Please open a case with tech support; that
is the only way these bugs get documented and eventually repaired.

when I create first and second endings. Also, (for instance), when I put D.
C. al Fine at the end of some music, then put Fine where I want it, not only
does D. C. al Fine or Fine not appear on
Howdy!
Does anyone have any suggestions as to how one can convertcommon
audio files (mp3, wav, wma, rma, e.g.) to midi format? As near as I
can determine, Finale does not do anything like this.

Hello!
I just resubscribed to this list after a long hiatus, so if this topic came
up recently and was beaten to smithereens, please forgive me!
I've been using the trial version of Sharpeye ver. 2 to scan music into
Finale to put onto CD's -- specifically, solo and piano parts for my
