I found an intriguing option in Finale GPO: Lock Memory (No swap).
It appears when you click in the options button to the left of the Kontakt
Player main window.
Well, if you uncheck it and check it again it warns you about a possible
slowdown of the system. But it is checked by

In Mac, if you move the Finale 2006 folder to another location different to
the Applications one, it looses the Finale GPO feature. But if you move
both, it crashes miserably!
So don´t put those apps in a subfolder like I did...

Unfortunately I can confirm that EPS exporting is not working well. I did an
example with a dashed slur. When exporting a selection to EPS the dashed
slur disappeared ccompletely, when exporting the full page the dahsed line
became solid.

I don´t know the details. But the fact is that I can not include and
under-tie sign that I deadly needs for the ligatures found in the all
Spanish lyrics.
The lyrics window does not accept Unicode symbols at all.
