Darcy, When I looked at Coil-binding.net page I get 12 inch in the left colum and 36 inch in the right. Since I use them mostly for 11 x 17 inch scores I buy the 36 inch and cut them down as needed. Sometimes they can come up a little short on the second score. I currently get my supplies

Try turning off AU Playback before closing and turn it back on again after the file opens.  In 2006b, Finale does not load the audio until you attempt something that requires playback.  Maybe that will get you around something that is happening during the file loading process. Vince In a messa

George, Go to Options Menu > Document Options and select Lyrics in the left column.  The setting you are looking for is Maximum Space Between Hyphens.  Increase the number to cut down on the hyphens.  Make it the width of the page to eliminate all but a single hyphen. Vince Leonard www.invince
