and confirm that the archives are down and that it's not a problem on my end?

i've been trying to access the archives since early yesterday
afternoon via the link at the end of the digests but the server
apparently can't be found.

please respond privately: since i receive the digest and not
individual messages, i don't know

An email from Henry Howey confirmed that the SHSU computer network is
down for maintenance. According to him, the archive should be back up
and running by next Monday.
The list is still functioning as normal; it's just the archive server
that is currently affected.
