I hear you. But I'm not sure that it's such a good idea to try to use files
created with older versions of Finale in newer versions. I got into trouble
doing this a few versions back, and since then have made a point of taking an
hour to edit the fresh new default file in each new version. Since

I'm having the same problem in both locations. Unlike all previous versions,
2011 won't recognise my edited default document.

I believe it is supposed to be
~/Libraries/Application\ Support/MakeMusic/Finale\ 2011/Libraries/
The one under Music Files dir is a backup copy.

Hi, all.
I can *swear* I'm doing everything right, and yet I'm stifled. When pressing
command-N for a new document Finale tells me that it can't find the Maestro
Font Default file and will create a new one. First, my specs:
MacPro Dual Core 2 GHz
MacOS 10.6.6
