Thanks to Aaron, Christopher, and Jeff for your great help concerning circled noteheads. Using the Maestro K font with a metatool seems to work pretty good for me. It lines up good with the note vertically but, a little to the right horizontally which takes a small adjustment. Guess I don't have

help menu: engraver / maestro etc. font charts there are a couple of examples depending on how big / what shape you want. Is there a way to get a cirlcle around a notehead which is easier than having to draw one with the expressions tool in winfin 2006? -- shirling & neueweise ... new music
