change starts? i.e. the only place it is visible is in the score
manager?!
it seems to me this is a huge problem for proofing, no?
and now that the instrument.txt file no longer exists, i can't change

it's currently not possible to see

i also used to be able to replace the english instrument.txt file
with a german one to be able to easily generate a score with german

phew! ok now what programmes can edit this thing? i opened in
TextEdit and well... no way. MS word, excel, BBEdit, nope.
seems to be made in SQLite, so there is no way to access / edit this
file without being able to code in SQL?

F2011 it was a text file that could be edited by any user who knew
how to open a basic text editing programm
ok managed to get things working using SQLite Database Browser. now
i can edit the clef, transposition etc. information for individual
instruments. it's actually much cleaner to work with than the txt
file in previous versions (which was a total mess), once you get the
proper software instal
