I presently have Windows Finale 2014 .5, 2012, and 2011 installed on my
desktop. I need the first two, but I only need 2011 to be compatible with
one client. I could make do without 2011 for a while, and it may be causing
some difficulty. I seem to recall that immediately after installing one of
the versions, probably 2011 , that the other versions started an annoying
playback thump. The thump, sounding something like clipping, did not affect
the save as audio function, but I have a need to record directly from
playback right now.

Years ago, I don't remember exactly when, I ran the uninstall routine on
one version of finale, and it's seriously damaged the current version,
obviously deleting files that it should not have.

My question is this: is it safe to run the uninstall routine in Finale
2011, or will it screw up my other versions? If it is not, how should I
delete 2011? Thanks for any help.
