As an experiment, using Acrobat Professional 6.0 I saved the Finale User Manual Index as an HTML file. The result, unfortunately, was far less than useful. Line feeds in the pdf document (not surprisingly) were not respected in HTML. The internal Acrobat cross references were lost too. For example,
