I have a nice old Dual G5 (1.8GHz) running 10.4.11, recently upgraded
to 10.5.8; my video card is a NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 with 64MB VRAM.

anybody think that adding memory might also have an effect?
currently I have 2.5GB - I can go to 4GB for <$100 - seems easy enough
if there is some benefit...
