A good thing to do when weirdness happens is to start up from your system install disk and run Disk Utility program to Repair Disk and Repair Permissions. These various software utilities can only do so much without working from outside the operating system. Do this regularly. Paul Besco, Rags

Hi All, You could try a program called Applejack you can get it from sourceforge.net, it works in single user mode (hold down Apple - S when starting up). It will delete all caches and swap files for you, repair permission and repair disks. Has worked for me. Regards Dave Hage Dakota Music
