Hi Robert,
Maybe try an invisible downbow articulation? Again, haven't been able to
confirm but I've been told articulations are more reliable than expressions.
Often, though, it seems to get "stuck" on a particular keyswitch, and I have to
resort to opening up the ARIA player and manually chan
My challenge is getting it to go back to arco when I start playing in
mid-stream

Hi Robert,
Interesting. You are right that even added invisible "pizz." expressions don't
always seem to do the trick when using Garritan instruments. I've heard that
one foolproof method to get pizz playback is to use the Bartok pizz
articulation (hidden, of course), though I haven't been able
I often add expressions to reset to normal at the end of pieces.
Putting them at the beginning is iffy.

Hmm. HP didn't catch the one I added. Actually it doesn't specifically seem
to be a problem with HP. Rather with AU. If I switch to "Play Thru Midi" HP
processes the expressions correctly.

Hi Robert,
HP is supposed to chase expressions from measure 1, but as you discovered, it's
not very reliable. I often find myself adding additional, hidden "pizz.,"
"mute," and similar expressions just so that HP is more likely to catch them.

Is there any setting for Human Playback equivalent to the "Chase From
Measuer 1" option for traditional MIDI playback? It drives me crazy when
arco sections are played pizz (or vice versa) just because I didn't start
in measure 1.
