In 2006 you could use the Graphics Menu. The manual says "Place EPS, TIFF or WMF (Windows Metafiles) graphics into your score (in Scroll or Page View), and assign them to a measure, a page, or a range of pages". I don't know how to manage .gif files. Maybe 2008 has improved this matter? Patrick
