Hello group - I’ve been following the recent PDF thread. Although I purchased Finale 2009, I’m still working in Finale 2007 on a Mac.
Question: will PDF files created with Finale 2007 look the same when opened on other platforms (e.g. windows machines)? Although I haven’t noticed any errors, are there also problems with PDF's from 2007? (In short, this process works like a charm for me, producing beautiful PDF’s with drawers. e.g. one scene has 56 pages.) Question: If one works in Finale 2009 (I’ve been meaning to install 2009 for over half a year), is it no longer possible to create PDF’s? If such is the case, has Finale 2010 resolved this issue? Just to make sure, here’s how I create a PDF in Finale 2007: Open a formatted page in Page View > go to File and select Print > Under PDF select save as PDF.
