turn off the "engraver tuplet&

I prefer to have tuplet brackets on the stem side, except for vocal music
where I prefer to have them always above the staff in order to avoid
lyrics. In the piano vocal score I'm working on now, is there a way to
define tuplets in the vocal staff to automatically be placed above the
staff
