We fixed this part.
The entire application bundle needs to be updated, when we do an update.
There was often much user confusion when they'd double-click a file and
the vanilla release opened instead of the maintenance rel

When you do this, does it say 2007.r1 or r3? Mine says r1, while others
have emailed me to say their's reads r3...besides, I updated today, and
the date still says last august, when I loaded the first version of
2007. Still not sure if the update downloaded correctly here!

Either click on the program and do a Get Info, or while running, do an
ABOUT and you'll see the version info.
Yeah, this year MakeMusic just wrote over the old program, along with
the Maestro Default file and others. No asking or anything. Just over
wrote it.

Sho nuff ... when it's running, and I click on About Finale, it gives
the updated version. I guess I did update after all ... what a comfort.
