Hi there, on MacOsX10.3 I would like to use Octave-Gnuplot and/or Scilab. Using the FinkCommander (0.5.1) I see more than 1600 packages, however not the ones I am looking for. However, if I check the fink web-page the packages are there. So, what am I missing or how do I install the software? A

Yes. I finally got it all running. On my system, when I start X11 it brings up the full gnome desktop and aqua disappears entirely. When I logout it flips back to Aqua. Can also set up where X11 runs inside Aqua with menu bars still visible. I chose the former to get a better feel for Linux in
