G3 700 Mhz iBook,
OS 10.2.8
Xfree86 4.3.0-16
packages "xfree86" and xfree86-shlibs" are installed (and I have done a
"fink reinstall" on both of them to try and get any missing files).
But when I do "startx", I get:

I was reading a thread that someone was trying to compile Gimp 2. Is
Gimp 2 really compilable in MacOS X 10.2.8?

I seem to be missing many fonts in kde. They are listed but most come
out Helvetica. Some are showing as the actual font style in the list
and they work. The rest, or most, are listed by name but in Helvetica
and "print" Helvetica.
Any ideas,
