compiling mono failed with following message:

i can no longer use lame to convert from .wma/flac to .mp3.
the resulting mp3 file is just hissing noise.
i tried with freshly installed lame as well with a non fink lame - so
my problem may be unrelated to fink.
any ideas whats wrong? any ideas how to test what libraries lame is
using

Actually, I just found my compile problem documented on the FInk Wiki
page, listed with an unknown cause and solution. Any ideas on how
quickly this might be resolved or if anyone is currently working on it?

is available in your XCode Tools distribution.
i did install gcc3.3 and gcc4.0 out of the xcode. now it gives:
