many months was merged into fink's unstable tree. This is well
tested, and updates by users appear to be going fairly smoothly.
Today, we will merge the gnome update into the stable tree. Because

I'm new to Fink and have three Newby questions:
1. Initially, I'm trying to use Fink to install Unison. When I search for
"Unison" in FinkCommander, two items come up. They are very similar, but one is
called "unison-aqua" and the other, "unison-nox." I then looked at other entries
in FinkCom
