Alexander and Kevin,
Thanks for pointing out that X11 need to be launched separately. At
first it still didn't work (in either terminal), but now it does (in
both terminals). I'm not sure what changed between a few hours ago and
now, but thanks for your pointers.

Just compared our error and yes, it's identical to mine.

Thanks Kevin,
The info file does the trick! "install cadabra" worked without problems,
and after fixing the dpgk status file for the cadabra buildlock, also
the "-m rebuild" went through without problems. Cadabra now works fine
in the terminal window. The graphical interface that should open th

I ran the installation of the package yesterday but the installation was
aborted (what I did not notice). Actually, I had to run several command lines (
eg sudo apt-get install libgettext3-dev=0.14.5-2) before the installation could
be done correctly. I feel asha
I've actually been seeing this error on kde 4.4 on 10.5 as well, so
hopefully I'll have it resolved as part of the Big KDE Update 2010.

installed in the default /sw location, put this .info file in
/sw/fink/dists/local/main/finkinfo. You may have to create this directory if
you haven't tested any local .info files before.
