Hello, I just read an article saying that the intel version of OSX will be proprietary. The ability to hack the kernel to create you own optimized version is no longer possible. I was just curious if this will have any effect on Fink the ability to port programs that use X windows? Crai

When I try to install Xdrawchem from the unstable tree, I get a compilation error. The error said that Xft support cannot be enabled due to functionality tests and if I want to see a final report to turn on verbose messaging in the .configure file. I have no idea what this means. I couldn't find

Hello, Selfupdate isn't working for me. I have no idea what going on. After I type "fink selfupdate", I get about 3-5 minutes worth of scrolling text and then an error saying it couldn't install libiconv-1.9.2-11. The last few lines are show below. Any ideas what's goint on? Craig gcc iconv
