I just read an article saying that the intel version of OSX will be
proprietary. The ability to hack the kernel to create you own
optimized version is no longer possible. I was just curious if this
will have any effect on Fink the ability to port programs that use X
windows?

Hello,
Selfupdate isn't working for me. I have no idea what going on. After I
type "fink selfupdate", I get about 3-5 minutes worth of scrolling text and
then an error saying it couldn't install libiconv-1.9.2-11. The last few
lines are show below. Any ideas what's goint on?

When I tried to do the EXACT same thing on my powerbook it didn't work.
I did the following:
1. I updated my powerbook to OS 10.2.3
2. I installed Apple Dev. Tools Dec. 2002
2. I deinstalled OpenOSXFree
