[Fink-beginners] mounting Linux partition

I have previously installed Linux (YellowDog) on my Mac. I wonder if it is possible to mount the Linux partitions under OS X or Darwin? Or is the only option to erase it and make it a HFS+ partition? Cheers, ++Eric Fielding ___ Fink

Michael, Thanks for the warning. I was actually planning to give up on Linux for my Mac. I would reformat the Linux partition and use it only under OS X or Darwin, but others may have a different situation. One certainly has to be extra sure before reformatting! Cheers, ++Eric

Brandon, There is an easy solution. Use the ps2pdf command (which is even a regular part of MacOS X to convert any PostScript file to PDF and then print it from Aqua's Preview or Acrobat Reader. I used this plenty before installing Fink. Cheers, ++Eric Fielding >Message:
