[Fink-beginners] can't update unstable packages

I've installed some packages from the unstable tree and there are some slightly newer versions available. However, today I did a "fink selfupdate-cvs" and "fink update all" and then fink told me there were no new packages to update. Am I missing something? Cheers,

[Fink-beginners] upgrade doesn't show new version

l still shows a distribution version 0.5.1. This same thing happened when I upgraded to 0.5.2. Furthermore, more of my packages categories are now shown as "unknown". If this keeps up, all of my packages will soon be in the "unknown" category. Isn't there

Hi. When I recently installed Fink 0.5.1, some ownerships didn't get set correctly and Fink Commander (just upgraded to 0.5.0) won't run things like apt-get because they're not owned by root. What files in /sw should be owned by root? Can I just chown the entire /sw tree to roo
