s which you
*do not* want to have anymore, and mark them with a minus sign.
After doing this, go back to the remove packages command, and it will
remove all the packages you marked.

Or, if i try to switch to sawfish using gnome, i am kicked out of
the windows manager, and drop back to my MacOS Darwin terminal with the
following message:
[sympatico:~] thoughts% startx -- -fullscreen

;m finding fink a lot
smoother and more stable, but GNU Darwin has a few things fink doesn't -
like slang :)

e to remove all calls to window managers,
and simply put
"exec sw/bin/gome-session-real"
This is also the only way i have managed to get sawfish running without
crashing...

nted in the Xfree86, Darwin distribution FAQ.
When logged in as >console, type exec startx, and then when you choose
to exit, it will successfull drop back to the GUI login window. If one
simply types, "startx," then they will get the beach-ball problem...
