Hi all,
I wanted to know whether it is possible to use fink to install packages
that have been downloaded independently of Fink.
I prefer to download stuff at work because of the speed, and then bring
it home on ZIP.
If someone could let me know if this is possible and how to do it
because I am
I believe you can download the file and then just put it in the /sw/src
dir.

This is true for installing packages from source as long as your
info/patch files on the home machine call on the same source file (i.e.
make sure to "selfupdate-cvs
