I am trying to install pstoedit with fink and am getting this warning. Does anyone have any ideas for documentation to help me out?
I should say that I get exactly the same problem when trying to compile autotrace.
I have developer tools installed and fink 0.17.1-1

Since you didn't say, I'll assume you're on 10.3. In that case you need to install the gcc2.95 package from the XCode CD. gcc2 is a virtual package that shows up when you have gcc2.95 available.
