Comment out all those #pragma's or add -fno-rtti to your CXXFLAGS for happy linking.
to "/sw/var/lib/aptitude" in a lot of places even though I used the flag --with-package-state-loc=/sw/var/lib/aptitude). Unfortunately as soon as I run the program, it dies with a bus error. More work to do, I guess...
