The new version of ettercap-ssl has a Depends on dlcompat and a
BuildDepends on
dlcompat-dev here, which I don't believe is required on 10.3. I was able to
compile ettercap-ssl just fine without these two packages.
Are these dependencies required?
According to the ettercap forum, those are
The only libdl.dylib on Panther is (or should be) /usr/lib/libdl.dylib,
which is a symlink to /usr/lib/libSystem.dylib, showing that the
dlcompat functionality is contained in the system now (showing also that
good arguments can end up convincing Apple, even if it takes 3 years).

Submitted an updated libnet package (1.1.1 which was released last week)
to the fink sourceforge - because your mail address is no more correct in
the package info file.

There is a virtual package for libtool? Interesting I see nothing like
that in the package manager source nor in the package database...

Considering that OSX.3 have a recent autoconf, why not make a virtual
package for it as well ?
Version is : autoconf (GNU Autoconf) 2.57
Just an idea I got while installing automake 1.7 and after noticing there
was a virtual package for libtool.
BTW, same ida for automake - version is :
