We would also have to manually assigne address ranges to each of the 
libs, and keep a central repository of them. Of course double 
checking that they are big enough for the affected packages, and 
hoping that no outside libs will use conflicting ranges, since then 
prebinding will be disabled.... doesn't sound that nice to me.

Maybe it's worth for the speed, but OTOH I fear it'll be a major pita for us.
