Kurt, The SplitOff gmt5-dev doesn't Depend: on the gmt5-shlibs package. This makes it possible to remove the versioned dylib /sw/lib/libgmt.5.dylib but leave the unversioned /sw/lib/libgmt.dylib as a broken symlink. The same thing goes for gmt-dev and gmt-shlibs. Hanspeter
