Hi,
I have done a clean reinstall of fink on 10.2.1 (after an archive and
install from 10.1.5). I have installed bundle-tetex plus suggested
packages. However, for texpower the .zip file is not found:

The web package database lists the current fvwm2 version at 2.4.8-3,
which is what I want, not 2.4.11-1. I've tried fink install but it only
tells me "No packages to install."

Hi,
I have Mac OS 10.2 and I'm installing fink from cvs. After getting the
code, I do a ./bootstrap.sh answer a bunch of questions and it goes off
and downloads the various sources. Then during compilation I get :

There's no 10.2 fink binary for xfree86-rootless. You'll have to build
it from source or install by other means.

Sorry if this is a silly question. I looked at the fink-users

The binary distro version is at 2.4.6-2, just like what you have.
You'll have to install from source ('fink install') if you want a later
version (2.4.11-1).

But with apt-get you only have access to 0.4.1. A binary distribution
for Jaguar does not exist yet. For Jaguar, you have to compile yourself
using fink install. This will give you fvwm2-2.4.11-1.

You need information both from fink.conf:
Mirror-gnome: ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/
and the .info files, e.g.:
Source: mirror:gnome:sources/%n/1.4/%n-%v.tar.bz2
(%n is the package name, %v is the version number)
So, putting it together:
ftp://ftp.gnome.org/pub/GNOME/sources/%n/1.4/%n-v.
